Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

Out of Dallas:
Four years ago, Britney Jordan walked away from the game she loved. A 2003 McDonald’s All-American who played at Temple University, Jordan had lost her spirit for the sport. Her life had spiraled out of control. There was little chance she would return to the game. She was out of school, out of work and quickly running out of options.

That’s when Texas A&M-Commerce coach Denny Downing reached out in the hope of getting her back in basketball. Today she’s a senior guard at A&M-Commerce, where she leads the NCAA – women’s Division I, II and III, men’s Division I and II – in scoring at 31.0 points per game
