A little history out of Tennessee: Girls at heart - 50 years later - Goodlettsville six-on-six champs still meet, still best of friends

They talk about great high school memories. And not only the times on the court, where Trisdale developed an almost unstoppable jump shot or Alley made numerous steals.

They also roar at stories, like the one about when a classmate held a slumber party the night before a game that at least four players went to after their coach told them not to. And they got caught red-handed when that coach Betty Marshall, showed up, too.

"We were all trying to hide — in corners, under beds.…'' Trisdale remembers.
