Some quick impressions from tonight's games:

1) Thought-tap Walz and I'm betting you'll hear: "No, really, I MISS my seniors (and it doesn't help that Byrd is gimpy and about to undergo surgery.")

The #25 Cardinals got overwhelmed in the second half by previously un-victoried (as in 0-5) Central Michigan and lost 84-75.

2) File under: The Mitten State is Gettin' Feisty: Notre Dame beat Eastern Michigan, but a 10-point win isn't quite what you'd expect from the #6 team in the country (though the Eagles were 5-1 coming into the game.)

3) There's little doubt #23 DePaul is missing their top scorer, Deidre Naughton (lost to a G-D ACL), but that doesn't diminish Green-Bay's 11-point win. So, will the 6-0 Phoenix rise in the polls?

4) While Pittsburgh won handily, the Big East's bad night continued with Rutgers' loss to Temple, 62-51. At the RAC. I'm guessing CViv really, REALLY wants that "schedule pause."
