Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

LSU lost in triple overtime Sunday, hours before their local team won the Super Bowl.

The teams combined for 203 points; the road upset could put Ole Miss in the top 25.

Tigers guard Katherine Graham downplayed her triple-double: "It doesn't mean much because we lost," she shrugged. LSU mainstay Allison Hightower, who led all scorers with 31, played for the first 47 minutes, then had to sit out due to leg cramps.

"We fought as hard as we could," said coach Chancellor afterwards. Van knows something about triple overtimes, too.
