Tickets for the 2010 Women’s Final Four Salute Premiere are available online for the membership and public. The salute, which celebrates the participating teams and coaches at the Women’s Final Four, is April 2 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
Tickets are $20. Registrants must enter the password “Southwest” to access the site.
The 7:30-8:30 p.m. event is a theater-style presentation. ESPN sportscaster Hannah Storm will emcee the event. Country singer Sarah Lenore will perform the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball anthem, “The Power of the Dream.”
Maj. Gen. Mary Kay Hertog, Commander of the Second Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi and a four-year letter winner at Miami (Ohio) from 1974-78, will also speak at the event.
