On Geno's "outburst": Here is the article in UConn's Daily Campus by Amanda Alnutt -- she is apparently the reporter who asked Geno the questions that got him so angry (that's what they showed on SportsCenter). But apparently it might have been questioning from a Bergen Record reporter that got him upset in the first place. That article (with no mention of the outburst) seems to be here. More from the UConn chatroom here. From the Duke chatroom, discussion here.
From the Rutgers chatroom, this report: The reporter was from UConn's student paper, the Daily Campus, Amanda Alnutt. She's been asking stupid questions all year. A member of the CT media said "She's been something of a problem all year. She's a kid, and she's carried around an "I know it all" attitude all year, and has asked a lot of dopey questions in an antagonistic tone. She finally pushed Geno too far tonight, and I don't blame him one bit for losing it. His comments to her were as much for the whole season as it was about tonight." Aditi Kinkhabwala from the Bergen Record asked a crying Diana Taurasi if she thought she made a lot of people happy by losing. That got Geno peeved as well.
