Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

BC, playing its fourth day in a row, beat Rutgers for the Big East championship.

"It's just an unbelievable experience that I don't think you can describe," Amber Jacobs said. "This is a goal that this team this year has wanted, and we've believed since Day One. We had to fight through being a fifth seed and not getting a bye that first round, and I think we gave our hearts and persevered every game."

Rutgers, without Chelsea Newton or Dawn McCullouch, had to suit up two student managers, and had to pin all of its hopes on Cappie. Pondexter did a great job, but she alone wasn't enough to overcome BC.
