Maryland won a classic after Kristi Toliver hit an extraordinary shot to send the game to OT.

Duke and Mo Currie fell short again in a game that they should have put away long before the end of regulation.

Maryland's lengthy suffering at the hands of the Blue Devils ended at TD Banknorth Garden Tuesday night when the Terrapins overcame a 13-point deficit in the second half to stun Duke, 78-75, in overtime and win their first NCAA championship. It was only the second championship game to go to overtime in the 25 years of the NCAA tournament.
