Douglas: "I don't think it's any secret how I feel about Indianapolis. I have a house [within] walking distance to Conseco. That's where my roots are. It's a phenomenal city. But Connecticut has been good to me, too."

Indy Star columnist Bob Kravitz: "So if I wrote Indiana should make every effort to bring Katie Douglas home, you'd have no problem with that."

Douglas: "No problem at all."
