Some things noticed over the weekend:
Two knees were in the news. It may be that Baylor's stomping of Kansas State (63-49)comes at a high price. The Bear's Jhasmin Player injured her knee during the game. (on edit: well damn. another bloody ACL.)
Meanwhile Coach Van sat out Sylvia Fowles for most of their against Florida (they won 85-71) after she tweaked the December-sugery knee. Looks like she could have returned to the game, so all are breathing a sigh of relief.
Rutgers used a 15-1 run to finally put away Pittsburgh, 64-60, but this was the second game in a row where Rutgers struggled to take advantage of their opponent losing their big (Marcedes Walker went out with what looked like a bad ankle sprain at the end of the first half).
Texas didn't give Oklahoma much of a battle as Paris got her double-double and the Sooners got a win, 74-58. Keep an ear open -- there have been mutterings about how the efforts made to keep the streak alive.
Georgia is having some kind of unpleasant run. Vanderbilt sent the Dawgs to their third-straight loss, 61-54. (That's six losses in the last nine games) With both having the same overall record, and Vandy having the better SEC record, you've got to wonder if the poll-voters will notice.
