"The University of Connecticut said it self-reported a secondary violation of NCAA rules involving the recruiting of basketball player Maya Moore."Gotta say, if I were inclined, I'd sure ask ESPN some timeline questions.... what with them breaking the news about a violation they were part of just after Tennessee and UConn had won their conference championships, all but sealing their #1 spots, and with the announcement of the brackets coming up in a week on ESPN, and with ESPN following up on the story with Jim Rome questioning Coach Summitt, and the respective fan base now in a tizzy as a result of their breaking the story....
School officials said Wednesday that UConn and the NCAA "now consider this matter closed."
