The thing about a good copy editor is, it helps if they know the subject. Or are profoundly neurotic and check your facts.

But, these days its rare to find a copy editor who can spare the time to thoroughly double check work. Rarer still is to find one who knows a thing about women's bball... (and would be willing to work for free for some random blogger).
