Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

Well, he didn't find my post about the D-I player who shifted to D-III but ex-Atlantan Ed was kind enough to send along a copy of an article from The Emory Wheel, "Two from Division I."
Brown, who stands nearly six feet tall, started most of her games during her two years at Providence College (R.I.) in the Big East — one of college basketball’s premier conferences. Lillard, a five-foot-six feet sophomore point guard, left Mercer University after one year with the Bears.

Both claimed that the strains of D-I athletics interfered with their classwork and took over their lives.

Though both began their college careers more than a thousand miles apart, they both eventually called Emory home.
