Another classic "We're the New York Liberty, we don't have to be proactive about informing our fans.... they should just KNOW!" moment.

Apparently Christon, Jackson and Carson were at the NBA store today (gosh, remember when W players appearing there was a weekly occurrence?).

Seems it was posted somewhere on the NYLib page -- but honestly, the team is on the road...how many fans check the page? I've been a season subscriber since '98 and I NEVER check the Lib page.

So -- what to do if you're the Liberty and actually WANT people to show up? Actually WANT your subscribers to feel "in the know," even if they can't attend? Actually UNDERSTAND that managing a subscriber base means you at least try and give the impression you care about the people who purchase your seats?

You send an email. Heck, maybe a couple emails!

But noooooo, you're the NYLiberty and the WNBA. It's 2008 and you still have no idea how to take advantage of the internet. *bangs head against her computer screen*
