Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

The good news last night was that Stricklen did play. The bad news was that she didn't shoot well -- nor did her team (32%).

The seventh-ranked Blue Devils became only the third team to win three consecutive games on the Lady Vols' home court with a 62-54 win over No. 13 Tennessee.
Tennessee Coach Pat Summitt said it's time for her team, which includes seven freshmen, to grow up.

"Right now, I don't think our team really gets it," she said. "We got outworked. We got outplayed. Duke is a veteran team, and they wanted it more. They were a lot more physical."
Can I just ask - what on earth is up with free-throw shooting in wcbb? I mean, TN shot 56% and Duke all but gave the game away, going a painful 15-29 for an awful 51%.
