Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

That howl you heard coming out of the Nutmeg State was probably Agnus Berenato getting a technical. Or it may have been the UConn fans cursing as ESPN switched to more competitive games. (Connecticut led #19 Pittsburgh 47-21 at the half.)
"I felt we had a great game plan," Berenato said. "I felt like we had nothing to lose. They took it to us in the first four minutes of the game. It was 18 points and I had used two timeouts. That's what they do to you."
The Huskies were hitting on all cylinders on offense, and played smothering defense, and the second half was more of the same. The game ended in a 95-42 rout.
"Five people in double figures. Three people in double-digit rebounding. Fifty-five to 37 on the rebounds," said Berenato looking at the box score. "They attacked, they were aggressive."
