Dawn Staley is writing for the New York Times: A UConn-Maryland Final Would Have Intrigue

My first thoughts when watching the women’s tournament selection show Monday night were about how frustrated I was that South Carolina was not involved this year. I don’t fill out a bracket or anything, so watching the show was completely different for me. I’m used to finding out who we’re playing, getting as much video as possible that night and going from there. This time next year I plan to have a lot more company watching the show, waiting for “South Carolina” to pop up on the screen — and a lot more work to do in the hours after the field is announced.
