NB A point of clarification - unless there's a flotilla of 71/2-foot wing-spanned women coming up the ranks, BG cannot transform the women's game. She can be a unique presence, but transformation requires people saying stuff like, "No one before Jane Smith thought that centers could regularly shoot the three." Or, "she was the first guard to switch seamlessly from face-up play to back-to-the-basket post-like play."

I'm sure others can come up with something that reflects a transformational moment in our game more accurately, basketball-language-wise.
