The NYTimes picks up an AP story about something we already knew: Picking Tourney Sites Can Be Daunting Task

For the second straight year, there is a good chance that 6 of the 16 sites that will host first- and second-round games for the tournament will not have home teams playing, which could spell a major economic loss for those institutions.

Last year in the opening rounds, five of the six sites that did not have host teams playing did not pull in the money they had guaranteed to the N.C.A.A. and had to make up the difference.
