Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

Pilight pops up with his own field of 64. Scroll down if you just want his guesses at at-large bids.

Note the irresolvable dilemmas: if you want to be fair to the surging Hawkeyes, for example, you'll need to give special weight to the most recent work-- but the more you do that, the more you downgrade teams like Middle Tennessee's Blue Raiders (best win: Kentucky), whose conference has a lot of weak opponents. MTSU beat every team except Arkansas-Little Rock by a ton.

Arkansas-Little Rock present their own dilemma: a reasonably demanding nonconference schedule (in which they lost to every BCS team they played), then an undefeated cruise through the Sun Belt's regular season, capped with a loss to MTSU in the title game (the one where Alysha Clark scored 48 points).

UALR get a bid from Pilight's computer, which excludes Iowa, but not in Creme's chart, where Iowa comes in eleventh. (Pilight, the human being, predicts that both UALR and the Hawkeyes will get bids.)
