Tina Charles is now UConn's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, and her team has its third (second consecutive) undefeated regular season. "It hasn't really hit me yet," Charles said.

She did it at Notre Dame: the eighth-ranked Irish threw two or three bodies at Tina throughout the night, and only slowed her down a bit.

ND tried to slow everything down, in fact: it worked, for a while. "Last game we weren't in it at all, so if we were in it for ten minutes tonight, that's improvement," concluded coach McGraw.

If you've been watching Tina for four years you will have noticed how much more consistent she is now, even compared to last January. (She might be healthier, too: no surgery recently.) "My first two years here I would take possessions off," she admits-- but no more.
