The State Farm All America team:
Jayne Appel, Stanford
Tina Charles, Connecticut
Victoria Dunlap, Kentucky
Kelsey Griffin, Nebraska
Amber Harris, Xavier
Jantel Lavender, Ohio State
Maya Moore, Connecticut
Nnemkadi Ogwumike, Stanford
Danielle Robinson, Oklahoma
Monica Wright, Virginia
Says Lobo:
Griner NOT named a State Farm All-America. That's embarassing for women's basketball.
and
Griner's snub was definitely b/c of the punch. She's the 2nd best center in the country. Don't think the punch should've kept her off.
I'll have to respectfully disagree with Rebecca because the criteria is quite clear:
*Present year game-by-game statistics and achievements
*Impact on the team
*Success of the team
*Sportsmanship and attitude
*Academic eligibility
