Inane commentary on a game that deserves far better

Sylvia Crawley may have two new jobs: the new head coach for Ohio University's Bobcats hopes to return to the court for San Antonio.

Crawley retired in 2004; she came to San Antonio in the infamous megatrade that sent Nat Williams to Indiana (and the Silver Stars into the dumpster).

OU's athletic director says he's "excited about the national visibility and exposure that our women’s basketball program is going to receive." (He may want to wait till she knows she's made the team.) The same two-hat plan seems to have worked at Temple.

Shanna Zolman knows she'll make the SASS roster: coach Hughes said as much two days into camp. The second-round pick sank five of seven trey attempts during San Antonio's preseason win over Charlotte. "Everybody knows I can shoot," Zolman says. "Now, I just have to do everything else."
