1. Bowling Green flattened Indiana. Sharon's been telling us BGSU are for real, the Falcons always win the MAC, and Indiana aren't quite the top of the Big Ten-- but the Hoosiers are still a Big Ten team, and until last night they were looking good.

Not at Bowling Green, and not last night. BGSU won by thirty-five; center Liz Honegger led the party with 17. In two weeks the surging Falcons face Duke.

2. Notre Dame fell behind by eleven, but came back late to upset Purdue.

Purdue coach Versyp started Danielle Campbell in place of frosh Malone, who had missed practice; the coach says her team "started being passive." And Gearlds' shooting troubles continued: she and Wisdom-Hylton combined to shoot 13-36.

ND guard Brionna Gray, on the other hand, shot 8-12, and 4-7 in treys: her Irish haven't landed a win this big in a while. Purdue fans wonder what's wrong.

Making attempted comparisons more confusing, Notre Dame lost to Indiana last week, but defeated Bowling Green in overtime.
